Nevada Men’s Golf Supporters,

We wrapped up our regular season last weekend with a 7th place finish in a 17-team field at the El Macero Classic hosted by UC Davis. We had 4 players finish in the top half of the field for the first time this season and continued to build on our steady improvement during our spring slate.

Oak Seelanagae led the team in a tie for 6th place with rounds of 74-71-71 for his best finish of the season. Aaron Leach also had his best tournament of the season posting rounds of 78-73-71 to tie for 26th place.

Mountain West Championships

Our 5 highest ranked players over the course of the season will represent our lineup next week:

We return to Emerald Valley GC outside of Eugene, OR for the second year in a row as the host course for the conference championship. Traditional pacific northwest style golf awaits us with heavily sloped greens and tight tee shots down tree-lined fairways.

Below are a look at the green complexes with last year’s pin locations and what the tee shots look like between 275-300 yards.

Round 1 play will begin on Friday, April 25th.

Volunteers Needed - NCAA Regional at Montrêux

We are seeking volunteers for the NCAA Golf Regional at Montrêux G&CC from May 11-14th. This is the first time Nevada has hosted a postseason event and we appreciate your help in putting on a great show! The tournament will showcase several of the top 60 teams in the country, with the top 5 teams advancing to the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa in Carlsbad.

Mark your calendars for Friday, August 22nd for another edition of “Friday Night Lights” at Wildcreek’s Par 3 Course. This will be a great opportunity to experience the newly renovated course as part of the First Tee’s project.

Sponsorship packages for the year are live and include some of our team issue gear such as headcovers, logo ProV’s, and custom Vessel golf bags! Registration and additional information will be shared in the coming weeks.
