Nevada Men’s Golf Supporters,

We hit the road this weekend to kick off our fall season at Palouse Ridge in Pullman, Washington. Ben Ortwein, Ryan Sear, Oak Seelanagae, and Jonathan Kim earned exemptions via Q-School, while Liam Gobin snagged the 5th spot via Coach’s Pick. Sloan Henggeler will make his Wolf Pack debut as an individual next week.

Palouse Collegiate Preview

It’s the Pack’s first stop at this new event, but I have good track record here after my alma mater Ball State advanced through the NCAA Regional in 2013 at Palouse Ridge during my first year coaching (via sudden death playoff against SDSU & Xander Schauffele.) The golf course favors solid ball striking as it was designed by a Pete Dye disciple.

For those of you who haven’t followed college golf closely, Scoreboard is now the official scoring platform, replacing Golfstat that was used for decades. Powered by Clippd, Scoreboard has spend the last year revamping their website and live scoring features. We are hopeful by season’s end that Scoreboard will have a robust page for all things Nevada Golf this year.

Pack Nine Tour Schedule

We have 4 chances remaining this fall to come out and play with the team at Pack Nine Tour stops. Each participant will play 9-holes alongside one of our players and take home their choice of tee gift. We are also bringing back “Friday Night Lights” where the women’s team will be joining as well!
