Pack Nine Tour Registration Now Open!
Nevada Men’s Golf Supporters and Friends of the Program,
Welcome to the official newsletter of Nevada Wolf Pack Men’s Golf. Your subscription gives you access to tournament previews and recaps, exclusive invitations to events, sneak peeks of the Silver & Blue on the road and so much more.
I’ve often said that the golf team is the most public-facing athletic program on our campus. After all, you’re likely not going to the gym and working out with a Wolf Pack student-athlete but we play and practice at golf courses in the Reno-Tahoe area and have been able to create relationships with a lot of local golfers and Nevada fans.
Today’s announcement is the culmination of that with the formation of the Pack Nine Tour. Throughout our season we will be hosting 9-hole golf events at area courses in which you’ll be able to play with an athlete on our team while directly supporting Wolf Pack Men’s Golf and our efforts to build a championship level program.
I would especially like to thank Darin Menante and Greg Wenzel from Washoe Golf Course, Mike Mazzaferri from Sierra Sage Golf Course, and TJ Duncan from Duncan Golf Management for hosting the first events on the inaugural Tour schedule. Please stay tuned to this space as our spring season begins on February 19th at PGA West.
