Nevada Men’s Golf Supporters,

As I mentioned in the last newsletter, we’ve cranked up the difficulty with practice and preparation. Our second and final round of Q-School at Montreux this week was played from the back plates with internal OB on each hole for any ball that crosses the cart path. Marginal shots were punished much more than usual, and it forced guys to be more precise with starting lines and targets. These adjustments should help tighten things up at home and make tournament golf on the road feel easier!

Q-School Results

Oak Seelanagae and Jonathan Kim took home automatic exemptions for the top two spots this week. Liam Gobin and Aaron Leach were voted into the lineup by teammates, and Ben Ortwein earned his spot via my coach’s pick.

For those of you who haven’t followed college golf closely, Scoreboard is now the official scoring platform, replacing Golfstat that was used for decades. Powered by Clippd, Scoreboard has spent the last year revamping their website and live scoring features. We are hopeful by season’s end that Scoreboard will have a robust page for everything Nevada Golf this year.

Scoring for this event will be through Golfstat.

Pack Nine Tour Schedule

We have 3 chances remaining this fall to come out and play with the team at Pack Nine Tour stops. Each participant will play 9-holes alongside one of our players and take home their choice of tee gift. We are also bringing back “Friday Night Lights” where the women’s team will be joining as well!
