Nevada Men’s Golf Supporters,

Our second trip to the state of Washington this fall ended with a similar fate as the first. We got off to a rough start early and spent the remainder of the event trying to battle back to the bulk of the field. We played alongside the eventual champion Utah the first day, which I’m hopeful will be a good learning experience for the group going forward.

All 5 guys have to be locked in ready to put up a red number on any given day. The days of shooting 74s and staying in contention have mostly disappeared from college golf over the last decade. Our 4th counting score each round will be a huge factor in where we land on the leaderboard in any giving week. Our 4th counting scores for The Tindall were 80, 77, and 78.

Cal Q-School

We head to Meadow Club next weekend for Cal’s Mackenzie Invitational. We have 3 rounds of Q-school slated over the next week with 3 exemptions on the line.

• Round 1 - Montreux - Sunday, September 29

• Round 2 - Clear Creek - Wednesday, October 2

• Round 3 - Martis Camp - Thursday, October 3

Friday Night Lights

Friday Night Lights is less than 2 weeks away! Teams of 3 will be paired alongside a player from both the men’s and women’s teams. Come join us and bring family and friends!

Pack Nine Tour Schedule

We have 3 chances remaining this fall to come out and play with the team at Pack Nine Tour stops. Each participant will play 9-holes alongside one of our players and take home their choice of tee gift. We are also bringing back “Friday Night Lights” where the women’s team will be joining as well!
